Plan with confidence
Your Carnama questions.
Plan your inspection, written scope and handover with practical answers about detailing, coatings, PPF, washing, cleaning, dent repair, paint and modification enquiries. Your chosen partner confirms the arrangements for your vehicle.
Does Carnama offer detailing as well as body-shop work?
Carnama is a super-speciality premium car-care studio combining detailing, coating, PPF, washing and cabin cleaning with dent repair, paint refinishing and suitable modifications. Confirm the selected studio’s actual facilities and appointment availability.
Should I repair paint before coating or PPF?
Inspect damaged paint, previous repairs and adhesion first. Dent repair or refinishing may be needed before protection; freshly painted areas require the paint supplier’s specified readiness and curing checks. Agree the sequence with your studio.
Will detailing remove every scratch or stain?
No. Results depend on paint depth, material condition and the cause of the defect. Deep scratches, permanent staining, wear, failed clear coat and hidden damage may remain or require another service. Agree realistic outcomes at inspection.
What care is needed after coating, PPF or interior cleaning?
Follow the particular product and workshop instructions for curing, washing, drying and ventilation. Ask for written maintenance advice and warranty terms if offered. Cleaning, protection installation and body-shop repair have different aftercare requirements.
Can photographs confirm the final quote?
Photographs help explain your requirement. An inspection may still be needed to check hidden damage, preparation and fitment before a final quote.
Does every partner offer every service?
The network includes different car-care businesses. Confirm detailing, coating, PPF, washing, cleaning, bodywork, refinishing or modification capability with your selected partner before arranging a visit.
What should I include in my enquiry?
Share the vehicle make, model and year, the affected panels or proposed changes, photographs and your preferred visit date. Mention earlier repairs and any parts you already own.
What should a written quote include?
Ask for the work areas, preparation, parts, labour, paint or materials, taxes and exclusions. Confirm the expected timing and how additional work will be quoted for your approval.
How is the paint colour agreed?
Discuss the colour reference and the condition of the existing finish at inspection. Ask whether a sample or blending is proposed and agree how the finish will be reviewed at handover.
Can I supply my own modification parts?
Ask the workshop before buying or bringing parts. It needs to review compatibility, condition, mounting and installation requirements, and explain what it can take responsibility for.
What should I confirm before a modification?
Discuss compatibility, fitment and effects on existing equipment with the workshop. Ask which checks or approvals your proposed change needs before ordering or installation.
How long will the work take?
Timing depends on the inspected scope, parts availability, preparation and workshop schedule. Request an estimated collection date and agree how changes to that estimate will be communicated.
How should I prepare for the workshop visit?
Confirm the appointment and actual workshop address. Bring the agreed vehicle details and reference images, remove personal belongings and discuss any access or collection arrangements beforehand.
What should I check at handover?
Review the agreed work areas, finish, fitment and any fittings removed during the job with the workshop. Record questions before collection and request the invoice and relevant aftercare instructions.
What aftercare or warranty applies?
Ask your partner for instructions specific to the paint, materials and parts used, including any waiting periods before washing or polishing. Request written warranty terms and exclusions where a warranty is offered.
Where can I see examples of completed work?
Request photographs or references for similar work from your selected partner. The Carnama concept illustration is labelled as artwork and is not a photograph of a completed customer job.
